Dr. Gary G. Kindley has over twenty-nine years of counseling experience. A gifted speaker, educator, and author, he has been a resource for corporations and other entities.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Psychology from Texas Wesleyan University; a Master of Divinity Degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Counseling from Texas Christian University. His studies have included psychology, systems theory, conflict management, pastoral psychotherapy, personality typing, addiction/twelve-step counseling, spiritual direction, leadership coaching and team development, with post-graduate studies in sexual ethics, men’s spirituality and life-stage crisis.
Gary Kindley is a United Church of Christ (UCC) minister, affiliated with the Cathedral of Hope UCC. Dr. Kindley is the father of two sons, and adoptive-parent to a 3-year-old Springer-Spaniel named Benson. His hobbies include travel, piano, movies and skeet shooting. An advocate of educational travel, he has led tours of the Middle East, Greece, Scotland, and England.
