Bishop Deborah Lieder Kiesey delivered the 2016 Episcopal Address [to the North Central Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church]. After forty-two years of ministry she estimated that she has used over 3,000,000 words. However, at times words fail and it is music that takes the place of unspoken words. “Maybe music can teach us something about the world that we occupy together.”
