What does it mean to 'preach from the margins'? If the church is called to solidarity with 'the least of these,' how do we preach from, rather than preach to, the marginalized spaces of our society? What concrete theological messages and actions arise when we are truly with those relegated to the bottom tiers of our local, national, and global communities? How can our preaching bridge the isolating gaps between the powerful and the powerless? This issue seeks to better understand the work of preachers and leaders emerging from or seeking true solidarity with oppressed and vulnerable populations.
